Women's Basketball Sophomore Hemani Kalia earns NWAC Player of the Week Honors

Kalia led the Cougars to a pair of big victories including helping defeat unbeaten Lane. In the first game against Linn-Benton, Kalia dropped 29 points in a 81-47 win at Linn-Benton, who ranked #5 in the coaches poll heading into the game. She followed up with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in the 76-70 win vs. Lane. Kalia played 34 or more minutes in both games, shot 51.6 percent from the field overall and 47.4 percent from behind the arc.
